  8. Synopsis: North Carolina has a weak living will statute. The
  9. law does not place an obligation on hospitals/physicians to
  10. effectuate the living will, but, does permit physicians to
  11. implement living wills. No form for living will is suggested.
  12. Consequently, any reasonable form, for example the "Weekend
  13. Law Firm" (TM) uniform living will can be used. Please
  14. also consider executing a living will for any State that you 
  15. spend more than a few weeks per year, or where you are a 
  16. temporary resident.
